A Message from the Co-Founder & Chairman
Greetings,
Over the recent years, in addition to mobility concerns, I have had some challenging health issues -- from having to have a complete plasma exchange over 14 days to being
life-flighted with a blood pressure of 50/10. By the grace and mercies of God, and lots of prayer and family support, I'm still here.
One somber day in the spring of 2016, I was close to death. My daughter decided she wanted to leave a legacy for me in my name and asked me if she could set up a Foundation. I agreed but, because Caryn was dealing with some heath issues as well (kidney failure), everything was on hold. Thanks to God's faithfulness, she was blessed with a kidney transplant on June 7, 2017, and is doing great, and God has kept me alive.
Thus, the origin of the Dr. Carolyn Foster Bailey Lewis Family Foundation. We simply want to make a difference and to be a blessing to others. Many thanks to Caryn for doing all of the paperwork, the leg work, the Website, and the graphics.
